- With the leadership of Daniel Shays, we will rebel against the government and keep them from taking our farms.

- We will not allow the government to take our farms. We will shut down the courts and make it impossible for them to carry out this horrible action!
- With the support of 600 men, we were able to shut down the courts. Now, with the support of 1,200 men, we will capture weapons from the town arsenal!
- On the morning of January 25, 1787, Daniel Shays and 1,200 men attempted to seize weapons from an arsenal. General Benjamin Lincoln and 4,400 men were able to stop the farmers from seizing weapons and ended the rebellion the next day.
- We didn't have enough power in the central government to stop this rebellion. We need to change the Articles of Confederation, otherwise we will be too weak to stop any future rebellion.
