- Odysseus call to adventure was to take over the city of troy. once Odysseus took over troy his new goal was to go home to ithica
- ithica was home to many people including Odysseus and his family.
- Odysseus tried to be friendly ot the cyclops and persuad then to give the food and shelter. However the cyclops aren't kind to unwanted visitors, so the cyclops ate two of odysseus men
- Odysseus took some of the cyclops goats as a reward for their escape
- However Zeus wouldn't allow Odysseus to return to Ithca.
- Instead Zeus guided Odysseus throughout the story.
- First Zeus led Odysseus to the island of the lotus eaters where some of Odysseus men ate lotus flowers,then quickly left.
- Odysseus then washed up on shore of ithca wihtout his crew because no one in his crew survived. Odysseues had to hide his true identity. Once Odysseus saw his son for the first time in 21 years he started to cry.
- Zeus then led Odysseus and his crew to the cyclops.
- The cyclops hen capture odysseus and his crew. Odysseus then decides to give the cyclops a glass of wine so he and his crew could stab his eye so they could escape back to their ship safely.
- Oysseus and his crew fight Scylla (six headed monster) on their way back to Ithica.
- Odysseus returned to Ithica and was reunited with his family after 21 years. Penelope gave odysseus a test by telling him she moved their bed. Odysseus then became angry because no one but Odysseus could move the bed. By saying this penelope was convinced Odyssues finally came back.
