- Red blood cells are the cells that look like flattened basketballs made mostly of a protein called hemoglobin.Hemoglobin picks up oxygen at the lungs and brings it to the rest of the body. These red blood cells live for about 120 days. Red blood cells are the most abundant kind of cell in your blood
- Of course! Blood cells are made in the bone marrow which is the soft spongy material in the center of the bones.

- Some white blood cells alert the body that it has been invaded, some produce chemicals to fight off invaders, and some surround and kill the organism
- White blood cells are larger than red blood cells but there aren't as many white blood cells. Wide blood cells are disease fighters.
- Last but not least we have plasma. Plasma is a yellowish liquid and made of 90% water. Plasma carries nutrients, hormones, and proteins throughout the body. Plasma carries away cell waste.
