- i don't know, we can't send anybody to do anything or they will die
- japan wanted to gain more land in asia but had the fear that the US would attack them to make them stop, so the japanese would make a plan to destroy the US military. when japan attacked pearl harbor nobody new that they were going to attack. the japanese bombers would drop their bombs on US war ships, while fighter plans would shot US plans on the ground to make them unusable. after this attach many people were shocked because of the attack and the next day after the attack the US would join on the allieds side.

- the battle of midway
- the way the battle of midway happened was that US code breakers found out that the japanese were planning to make a trap for US aircraft carriers. when the attached day came the US navy first sent out torpedo bombers to try to sink the japanese ships but none hit the ships. one thing that was good for the victory was that japansips guns were at near the bottom of the ships so american dive bombers flew up and dropped their bombs and were able to hit three ships that were sunk. the ship called yorktown fought the last japnese aircraft carrer and both attached each other but at the end both were sunk. this battle was the turn for the allies in the pacific.

- the US had develop an atomic bomb because they got told by albert einstein that hitler could be able to make an atomic. the US got many scientist to help make the bomb and spent 2 billion dollars on the project. when they finished they were able to make two bombs one named "little boy" and the other "fatman". but when they were going to use it in germany but they had already surrendered when hitler killed himself. but they were thinking if they should invade japan, they estimated that 500,000 to 1 million soldiers could die. so they decided to drop the bomb on japan instead. the US dropped the first bomb little boy on hiroshima. but even after the explosion in Japan they still didn't surrender. 3 days after the first bomb they dropped the second one fatman on nagasaki. 6 days after the second bomb dropped japan finally surrender and that marked the end of the second world war
