Storyboard Text

  • So glad i can travel through time, and go anywhere i want to! This is why i know so much, and this is why im the best History teacher around, all of my students love me. It's almost time for my students to take their final, so I got to revise all the material myself. I guess it's time to go on some adventures!
  • Could that be the famous Bacon?
  • Indeed I am! I am a revolutionary figure in constitutional law, science and philosophy. I sought to advocate new ways of dealing with the world. My radical approach to fundamental questions of life and the world we live in were influential for promoting a different spirit – the new age of reason and enlightenment. I sought a synthesis between a rational scientific approach, but also with a spiritual understanding of a just society.
  • Hey Edgard! Just thinking about life, you know, we are born into this world with an imperfect memory of justice, beauty, goodness. In that ideal world of Ideas, one can experience the real Forms which are perfect and universal. Our world is an imperfect parody of the Platonic flawless and superior world of Ideas. A knowledge of these Forms is possible only through long and arduous study by philosophers but their eventual enlightenment will qualify them, and they alone, to rule society.
  • Hey, Plato! How are you doing? Whats new?
  • Hello! Can't be more pleased to see you again Edgard Vidrio! The war ended in the late fall of 1918, after the member countries of the Central Powers signed armistice agreements one by one. Germany was the last, signing its armistice on November 11, 1918.  As a result of these agreements, Austria-Hungary was broken up into several smaller countries. Germany, under the Treaty of Versailles, was severely punished with hefty economic reparations, territorial losses, and strict limits on its rights to develop militarily.
  • No way, i can't believe who i just met! General John Pershing! How was WWI? :)
  • Great day outside, Edgard, let me tell you all about it! After the end of the war, a conference was held in Potsdam, Germany, to set up peace treaties . The countries that fought with Hitler lostterritory and had to pay reparations to the Allies . Germany and its capital Berlin were divided into four parts. The zones were to be controlled by Great Britain, the United States, France and the Soviet Union. The three western Allies and the Soviet Union disagreed on many things and as time went on Germany was divided into two separate countries : East Germany , which had a Communist government and West Germany, which was a democratic state . Berlin was also divided into East and West Berlin. Austria was also occupied by the four Allies from 1945 to 1955.
  • One of the most celebrated General in the history of Russian Empire , Soviet Union and the Russian Federation!  How was WWII?
  • Sir Henry Bessemer! How's the industrial revolution going?
  • Industrialization marked a shift to powered, special-purpose machinery, factories and mass production. The iron and textile industries, along with the development of the steam engine, played central roles in the Industrial Revolution, which also saw improved systems of transportation, communication and banking. While industrialization brought about an increased volume and variety of manufactured goods and an improved standard of living for some, it also resulted in often grim employment and living conditions for the poor and working classes.
