- Jason went to Pelias to reclaim his throne. Pelias then said that he must go on a dangerous quest and retrieve the golden fleece from the far away land of Colchis in order to have the throne.
- The gods were touched by his heroic mission, so they spread Jason's call for help. Then 6 heroes came to help him. They call themselves the Argonauts, after the ship they used to travel this difficult journey.
- There first stop was an Island called Lemnos, which consisted of an isle of women who had killed all the men. Jason ended up having twins with the queen, and the other men also found love. Hercules finally told them they weren't acting like heroes, so they finally left that island.
- Their next stop was the Island of the Bears. The people there welcomed them with open arms, but the monsters didn't. They chucked rocks at them. They eventually won, and left for their next place. When they sailed out they were blown back to the same island many nights later. When they arrived the people who had welcomed them before thought they were intruders, because they couldn't see. Many lives were lost.
- Hercules Squire was abducted by a water nymph, Jason kept going not knowing he doesn't have his strongest hero with him. Jason and the heroes still with him stopped at an old man surrounded by herpes. The old man told them how to overcome what lied ahead.
- They finally reached Colchis. Jason had to do the reast of the journey by himself. He then met up with the king who had the fleece, and he told Jason he has to complete three tasks in order to get the fleece. Medea (the daughter of the king) fell in love with Jason and swore to protect him from her father. So she helped him, if he promised to live with her forever. Jason completed all three tasks and escaped with the golden fleece and Medea. Jason killed Medea's brother with her help. They later ended up on the island of Circe.
