  • My goal is to get rid of Indian Status. Sir John A Mcdonald is motivator, as her is responsible for the genocide of Indigenous peoples
  • Some responsible for the Genocide did not create the systems, though they kept it running. There were two types of perpetrators, High level (the gov. church officials) and Low level (the school officials bureaucratic functionaries). They all helped get away with genocide
  • Residential did not provide Indigenous children with a proper education. Rather they focused on providing a religious background, as they did not see the point in educating them, they also did not want to spend more money!!!!

  • The TRC was established in 2008, it did not have supeina power. It was designedto have victim centre approaches. It did not have investigating powers in day school. Only $10,000 dollars was given for the first year spent in residential schools, and $3000 for every year after. The TRC did not account for the childhood trauma that was going to be passed down to future generation. There was deconstruction of Indigenous identities, which was not accounted for either.
  • We do not have enough money to keep this school running!!!!

  • Diseases like TB spread all around the school, killing many students. Diseases spread easily due to overcrowding. Sick students were in close contact with the non-sick students. The nurseries were closely. In addition there was no adequate medical care and supplies to treat these children

  • Sexual Assault was common in Residential schools. These sexual harassments were these children's first encounter with sexual acts, which is why there was student on student sexual violence. In addition to the assaults they used sexual violence to reward Indigenous children
