Storyboard Text

  • Anne Boleyn suffers in grief and self-pity as just the day before she was one of the highest people in power but now she's facing her executioner. She mourns, terrified as she hears the distinct clunk of the blade that would take her life
  • Anne Boleyn knows there's nothing that can save her now. She's been reduced to just the former queen. In one of her last moments, she still harbours love for Henry VIII but also deep hatred. Henry VIII,had ordered her execution and he hadn't even bothered to show up for it. So Anne Boleyn grieves, in her hatred and fear.
  • You lost the baby
  • While in distress moments before her death, Anne Boleyn gets flashbacks of her past. Of the events that she felt the greatest emotions towards.
  • Anne Boleyn remembers when her husband, King Henry VIII and her let the fact Anne Boleyn had lost their male heir sink in. She still remembers the expression on her husband's face. Disappointment, rage and resentment.
  • She knows she lost the child. Her child. Their child. The future heir. She knew the moment it died inside her. Just a couple months before it was born.
  • Anne Boleyn had time to grieve before Henry told her but she was still in a state of shock . She remembers mourning the loss of her son but mainly how she knows she lost some of the king's respect and effectively some of her status in court.
