- i think that the first state shouldn't be paying taxes since we contribute to a a voluntary gift for the government

- as the second state we think we shouldn't be paying taxes, since we are part of the royal family
- Maybe the new tax system !!?
- This isn't fair, us the third state, which are 90% of the population and we are the only ones paying taxes
- So we are here to discuss about new rules in France
- it was about time, this system had to be changed

- The Estates General was the representative assembly for the three states; First state (the clergy and priests), the second state (the royal family and nobles excluding the king), and finally the third state (which was mostly peasants)
- on june 20 1789, the members of the French Third Statement took the act of the Tennis Court Oath, vowing not to separate and to reassemble wherever require, until the Constitution of the kingdom is established, their goal was to make things fair between the three states
