- Narrators gets a letter from his childhood best friend, him and his widow are both very ill. The narrator gets on his horse and head to the House Of Usher.
- Narrator gets to the spooky home and walks in. He walks in and sees a physician that has been treating Mr. and Mrs. Usher for their sickness. The doctor gives him a dim glare, and then keeps waling past him.
- He finally walks in and is trying to find his childhood bestfriend who is extremely sick. Usher notices that the floor walls and even the stairs are cracking and is in terrible shape and can fall apart at antime.
- Usher sister dies who is also his wife, he becomes even worse with his sickness. Usher starts to become very depressed.
- Usher and the narrator take his sister Madeline to the dujun to put her to rest. Usher says his goobyes and him and the narrator puts her body into the wall, and leave her to rest in peace.
- A couple days go by and Usher has been going crazy his sickness is getting worse. The narrator can not sleep and a rainy night comes upon them. They are reading a romance and start hearing things from the basement. Usher has been saying hes heard his sister living in the coffin and she comes awake and comes in the room. MAD MAN! MAD MAN! and Madeline kills Usher in cold blood.
