- The laws of April 6 were 1. stopped immigration from the USA 2. suspended empresarios contracts. They also encouraged Mexican and European families to move to Texas. All of this angered a lot of American settlers.

- Bradburn believed in strict enforcement of the rules, but a tax collector attempted to collect customs duties. The colonists protested. Bradburn imprisoned William B. and Patrick Jack. This action angered the colonists
- Anahuac
- The colonists declared their loyalty to the Mexican Government and denied rebelling to defend the federalist constitution
- SFA sends a letter back to Texas about how Mexico city is crazy and that they don't have things together. And Santa Anna comes and SFA talks to him to remove the immigration law. But when SFA decides to go to Texas he gets in jail because of the letter. While in jail SFA starts to support the Texas Revolution.
