And we start with the first news that deals with:
I’m Caterin Martinez and tonight we have a special report about the most important event of national attention during and after the civil war.
DN
Emmett Till a fourteen-years-old boy, was accused of flirting with a white woman (known by Carolyn Brayant).
Bye, honey
DN
Two white men, abducted Emmett from his uncle's house and forced him into a car. Then they lead Emmet to a shack and beat him repeatedly, bashing his skill in. There, at the bridge, the two men threw the lifeless body of Emmett.
By the way, the 2 men weren't arrested or even punished for their crime.
Another event that happened was the Black Panther Party created in 1966 in West Oakland, California. In which it's purpose was to patrol and protect black neighborhoods from police brutality.
That was in the wake of the murder of black nationalism Malcolm X and after in San Francisco police shot and killed an unarmed black teenager named Matthew Johnson and it's influence continues to be felt in movements such as Black lives Matter.
