- Peoples have been growing and eating potatoes for thousands of years.Now,these potatoes grow from a seed.Firstly,the tractor has to prepare for the soil in the field.It divides the soil into ridges and then the potatoes are squashed into funny shapes as they are grown underground
- The soil is now covered on them to protect them to grow well.The potatoes are planted in the spring so the warmth can help them grow well.
- The planted potato begins to grow roots.The then reach up through the soil towards the sun and soon there are green leaves over ground.The roots also grow in the soil and this is where the potatoes grow
