- Don’t worry Unferth. As long as I posses Hrunting it shall see glory.
- Please take my sword ‘Hrunting’ to kill Grendel’s mother
- Into the lake I go
- The water covers my entire body, I can’t see because of the darkness
- Beowulf finds the lake where Grendel’s mother lives in. Unfreth gives Beowulf a sword to kill Grendel’s mother with.
- Take this ! *Attacks Grendel’s mother with Hrunting*
- I shall avenge my son. Your sword doesn’t work on me either
- Beowulf seeks for revenge and dives down into the lake to kill Grendel’s mother who killed a friend of King Hrothgar, who is also a friend of Beowulf’s
- I have killed you with this magic sword
- Hours have passed for reaching the bottom of the lake, he heads towards to Grendel’s mother lair.
- I brought back Grendel’s head
- Thank you for saving us
- Beowulf is attacked, he tries to hit her with his sword Hrunting but doesn’t succeed in piercing her skin. Realizing nothing can go into her, he attacked her with his bare hands managing to knock her out.
- Beowulf spots a giant sword behind her, bigger than Hrunting , it was hammered by giants on the wall. He grabs the sword and kills Grendel’s mother and chops off Grendel’s head.
- Beowulf wins the battle. After he chopped off Grendel’s head he went straight to the Hall to show everyone to brag about his victory.
