- Prince Prospero invited 1,000 of his friends to his home to escaoe from the Red Death that is outside the castle. They sealed the doors and windows shut so they will be safe from the Red Death.
- Falling Action
- The Red Death somehow gets in the Masquerade ball and people are just ignoring them and Prince Prospero is mad because an intruder breaks into his Masquerade ball. He broke in once the clock hit midnight.
- Resolution
- The Red Death killed Prince Prospero and all his friends once the clock hit Midnight which symbolizes the end of life.
- Symbolism
- The Red Death kills everyone and that would be world as we know it.
- Everyone in the world dies that is caused by the Red Death.
- Some symbols in the story are that the blue room represents birth because it is the first room in the castle. The white room represents that you are getting older and you don't have much time to live. The red/black room represent death because red represents blood and black represents darkness.
