- But something unexpected happened. A massive storm hit, and the Ottoman cannon was destroyed by lightning!

- The next day Constantine calls a meeting
- The emporor sent a messenger to sultan ahmed.
- Constantine XI: "Our enemies are regrouping, but we’ve been given a chance. Marcus, we must negotiate. Perhaps peace is still possible."
