- Hi all - Erik here. NY native, I grew up on Long Island and have been living in NYC for the last 5 years. Away from work you can find me experimenting in the kitchen, casually training for triathlon, or traveling to new countries in search of adventure and new perspectives.

- After earning a degree in Architecture and working in the field, I realized my skill set could translate across industries. I briefly ran an urban analysis and design studio, using mapping and data to help non-profits guide capital development. This experience reinforced that strategic decision-making for cities, communities, and people is inherently sustainable. To deepen my understanding of climate/sustainability, I returned to school—where I found SUMA.

- For the past few years, I’ve worked in consulting, supporting building decarbonization via policy implementation in addition to Utility program funding across NYS. I’m eager to further gain the tools to bridge the gap between financing mechanisms and advancing the built environment. Cheers!
