- I figured five would keep me going through the rumble and maybe get rid of my headache.
- I swallowed five aspirins
- Slide: 2
- Yeah sure
- Yo like fights,dont you, soda?
- I like fights

- We won,
- Greaser... greaser... greaser
- Slide: 4
- Ponyboy is trying to hide his illness and took five aspirins when no one was looking because he figured that the four aspirins would get rid of his headache and the one extra would keep himself going during the rumble.
- He fell over on his motorcycle and I'm takin' him to the hospital.
- Is he real bad? Do you need an escort?
- After the rumble Ponyboy and Dally go to the hospital because Johnny wanted to see Ponyboy but are stopped by the police for speeding. Dally lied to the officer that Ponyboy fell off his motorcycle and that he got hurt and were rushing to the hospital.

- Ponyboy was trying to convince the greasers to fight the Socs. Ponyboy was asking who liked to fight.Ponyboy questions everybody's reason to fight and finds that Soda fights for amusement, Steve for hate, Darry fought for pride, and two-Bit for conformity. He wanted to prove to Johnny that he could win a fight against the Socs.
- Stay gold, Ponyboy. Stay gold...
- After getting stopped by the police and being let go for speeding Dally and Ponyboy went to the hospital to see Johnny and to tell them that they have won the rumble. But they got there he was in critical condition and was dying. Then eventually he died. Right before Johnny died he told Ponyboy to Stay gold, Ponyboy.
- Slide: 6
- The Greasers were having a rumble against the Socs in the vacant lot. Then the Greasers managed to chase off the Socs which meant that they won the rumble. We won, Darry announced in a tired voice. He was going to have a black eye and there was a cut across his forehead. We beat the Socs
- After Johnny dies Dallas starts to speak to Johnny and tells him this is what you get for helping people and looks like he is about to cry and runs out the door and down the hall.
