People are becoming addicted to McDonald's fries and the Karens want to pass a law stating that you can no longer go to Mcdonald's more than once a month.Although the representative believes it is stupid, he presented the idea anyway to make it clear to the people that it was ridiculous and whole not pass. He doesn't get paid enough.
The representative proposes the insane idea to the rest of the House of Representatives as well as the Senate. The house and the senate both agree that the idea is pointless, and agree to hear it anyway just for the people to understand that it is stupid.
The subcommittee meets to mark up the bill although it is preposterous. They don't have the choice or power to get rid of it.
The congresspeople haven't had fun in a while, so they decide to all vote to pass the bill knowing the president will veto it, and then veto it themselves. The bill successfully passes in each chamber.
The president is thoroughly confused by this and, rationally, decides to veto the bill. He doesn't get paid to deal with this. The president doesn't know of the congressmen's plan to egg on the Karens and act like they'll pass the bill when they won't.
In the end: W Congress men, L Karens.The congressmen successfully pranked the Karens and the Karens are in the streets rioting, while Mcdonald's continues to sell fries and 0 ice creams.The End.
