When the war broke out Selmas dad could not return to her. So her grandfather became like her dad.

Selma and her mom had to leave her home and grandpa. Her and her mom thought they would see him tommorw but tomorrow never came for him.

Selma saw an elderly couple seperated because the lady was ill. They promised the husband can see her again but again never came.

After the dead of Selmas Grandpa. She got his watched that he died with. This is very dear to her and she wears it to this day.
Thank you grandpa. You were there when we needed you the most. You should have been able to live for longer. We all love and miss you. I will cherrish this watch
