- Fernand known as Count de Morcerf Is the first to be punished by Dantes. So, Dantes investigated his dark secrets and found out that he betrayed his patron Ali Pacha. Later, Fernand sold Ali Pacha's wife and daughter to slavery. Now Haydee was bought by Dantes and has her freedom back. Seven years later Haydee testifies against Count de Morcerf in front of the senate, ruining Fernand's name.

- When Mercedes and Albert found out about Fernand they felt ashamed and decided to flee leaving their fortune. When Fernand finds out he commits suicide.
- From the beginning Madame de Villefort has been poisoning Villefort's family because he wants her son to be the heir of all the fortune. No matter the cost. But when Villefort caught his wife, Madame de Villefort decides to kill her son and then kill herself. Lastly, Villefort goes crazy because his family was destroyed and he will have to answer to criminal charges.

- The next person Dantes was going to take revenge was Danglars. He used Danglar's greed for money to open many credit accounts. He also manipulated his wife. And helped his daughter Eugene runaway with her companion.

- Furthermore, when Danglars is about to flee from creditors. Dante sends men to kidnap him and leave him penniless.
- Lastly, Edmond and Mercedes part ways but he still gives some money to Mercedes and Albert to help them start a new life.

- And, Valentine daughter of Villefort and Maximilian son of Morrel are finally reunited after a long time because of Villefort's objection to their relationship.
