- Make sure to summarize all of the key points and main ideas from the lecture.
- The students are providing verbal cues such as a determined face and nodding their heads meaning they are listening and fully engaged in the classroom.
- Asking questions is an active listening tool which allows the students to ask question and the professor will acknowledge how the students are listening.

- Summarizing is an important tool to have. Students will be done listening and make sure to note down all of the main points during the lecture.
