- The VOC company was held in 1602 and ended in approximately 1780, in the Netherlands. It was the first and biggest trading corporation in the world. They basically trade spices and cloths with other countries
- The death of shichizo
- VOC company traded their spices throughout Asia, they also traded slaves in Indonesia. The company made a huge amount of profits too. In addition Dutch government was very supportive of the VOC company.

- Japanese Mercenaries and Ronin (Samurai without the masters) were paid by European soldiers and other Asian nations in the 1600's to protect the VOC company.
- Gabriel Towerson
- Shizhizo was born in Hirado, Japan. He was executed when he was 24 years old in Ambon. He was accused by asking suspicious questions about the protections of the castle
- spice island (amboyna) , nowadays it's called Ambon it is located in Indonesia. VOC company built their castle to make easier trading routes to trade with other countries.
- Gabriel Towerson was born in London, England. He was executed when he was 52 years old. He was accused by being a ringleader of all the rebellion. He was a ship captain.
