Cask of Amontillado
Storyboard Text
- Montresor seeks revenge at Fortunato. Montresor felt disrespected by Fortunato after making fun of him.
- Montresor on the left and Fortunato on the right. This was the 30th century. There was a carnival show happening.
- Montresor tells Fortunato he has a pipe of Amontillado in the Catacombs of the house. He invites him to come taste the wine with him. They walk down these big flight of stairs to go look for the pipe. Fortunato comes up with a cough looking like he is about to die Montresor ask does he want to go back but Fortunato refuses. Montresor grabs a bottle of wine from the walls and gives it to Fortunato to drink, he drinks alot of it. - They keep walking for the search of the Amontillado they stop at a point where their are body corps just stacked onto the walls. Spider webs hanged on to the ceiling looking like spit. There was a opening to in the middle of the bones Montreso said " The Amontillado is right up their go take a look at it" . Fortunato raises his torch and gets closer and closer while Montresor is on his tail. Once he gets in Montresor grabs him and put him in the medal chains strapped to the wall.
- Montresor is in exhaust after tangling Forunato, so he sits down on the body corps that surround him. He stumbled on some building bricks and Mortar. He also had a trowel in his pocket so he would build a wall in front of Fortunto so he cant escape.
- It took Montresor all night to finish the wall. From the 5th , to the 8th and the 11th. He is on the last brick and Fortunato begs him to take him out and let them go enjoy the Amontillado. Montresor laughs and puts the last brick in. You can hear a loud sad laugh from Fortunato in the walls then it stops. Montresor call his name but all he heard was silence. He then went home and that is the end.
- I believe that the Theme of Novel was to never disrespect or talk down on someone cause you do not know consequences of the future. They can be going threw something you never knew about and can really hurt them. So just be positive.
