- Jonas was curious about a curtain word "release" it was that was used quite a lot in the community. And he was also curious of the twins that his father is supposed to taking care of as only one of the twin is allowed to be in the community. So the Giver showed him what happened.
- That is release and your father doesn't even know what he did.
- They killed him.....They took one and killed the other and my dad did it!
- Gab short for Gabriel is a child that was too weak to be assigned to a family so Jonas's dad decided to bring him to his home for an year an year instead of releasing him but it didn't help Gab's fate.
