- NEWS- Covid-19, A pandemic that has changed our lives. Weall have shifted to spending more time online for classes, research, catching up withfriends and entertainment. Navigating all thishas been a challenge.
- Ron- Hmmm.
- NEWS- Being online requires certain important skills that will help us be morekind to others. We are talking about digital empathy today. It isthe capacity to put yourself in another person’s shoes, to understand, feel andrespond to another person’s feeling appropriately. If we are aware of how others feel as a result of our words and actions, we canensure that we do not hurt others or cause sadness.
- Ron- Whatever! I don’t think it matters that much!
- Ron starts bullying people digitally.
- Ron- Hello, you girly girl!
- Rita- Hello Ron, why are you calling me that?
