The Old Man, the Boy and the Donkey
Storyboard Text
- One day a farmer and his kid were going to market to sell their donkey
- So when the men were gone the man put his son on the donkey
- Would you look at that! their walking next to the donkey and not riding it.
- So when the men past them the father made his son walk while he rode the donkey.
- Look at that lazy boy he rides the donkey while his poor father walks
- While the men was walking and his son was riding they walked by some men and heard them say
- The father was very confused now so he put the son on the donkey with him.
- The father and son were doing okay until they passed two women who said
- Shame on that lazy man, he makes his son walk while he gets to sit.
- When they got to the town they saw people pointing at them so he asked a man why and he said...
- That poor donkey, you and your son probably weigh a ton!
- At this point the father and son didnt know what to do so they cut down a pole tied the donkey to its feet and walked
- When the boy and the farther got to the bridge the donkey got one of his feet loose and kicked off the other rope
- The moral of the story is try to please everyone, and you will please no one
- The boy had dropped his end of the rope and the donkey drowned because his front feet were still tied to the rope
