Storyboard Text

  • Young Anaanu, it is not easy to do this, and you must prove yourself first. Bring me a calabash full of bees, a python, and a ferocious leopard.
  • God, please write stories about me so I can be heard of across the world!
  • We can easily fit inside the calabash! We will show you Anaanu!
  • They can fill it; they can't fill it . My foolish friend says that the makers of honey cannot fit this calabash!
  • Well done, Anaanu! But where are the rest of the creatures?
  • I have brought you the swarm of bees.
  • This scene depicts when Anaanu asks god if stories are able to be written about him, but God says that is a tedious process. So, Anaanu adventures to find three creatures of the forest to prove himself worthy.
  • Nonsense! There is nobody in the world longer than I! I shall prove it by wrapping around this stick!
  • It is longer than he; it is not longer than he. Python, my ignorant friend says that this very stick is longer than you!
  • Anaanu uses this phrase to trick the bees into going in the calabash, so he can take them to god.
  • Excellent Anaanu, but where is the king of the forest himself, the leopard?
  • God, I have brought you the longest being in the forest.
  • Anaanu successfully completes his first task, and is ready to venture for both the python and leopard.
  • Haha! I have completed my trap for the leopard!
  • Anaanu tricks the Python into comparing his length with the stick and then wraps him along it in order to take the Python to god.
  • Well if it isn't the king of the forest himself. How did you end up in such a situation? I would help you but I do not trust that you won't eat me.
  • Anaanu still needs to capture the Leopard, and has to formulate a plan in order to do so.
  • Very well Leopard, I trust you. My family and I will pull you out using this rope and stick.
  • Anaanu has dug a pit and covered it with leaves. He plans to catch the leopard as he is hunting with this hole.
  • You have amazed me. I shall declare that all stories told about me shall also be told about you.
  • After the Leopard falls in, Anaanu seems to appear just by chance to find the Leopard stuck in such a situation.
  • Anaanu! How could I eat you if you were to save my life? Please help me, I beg of you.
  • Anaanu and his family use a rope and stick to help the Leopard out, but then Anaanu attaches it to the Leopard, tricking him so he can take him to god.
  • I am forever grateful, Anaanu.
  • Anaanu has now proved himself worthy to have stories told about him, as every story told about god would also be told about Anaanu. The very illustration being read right now is an example of this.
  • I have brought you the last creature, the king of the forest himself.
