In 563 B.C Siddhartha Gautama was born he was promised to be a good king or religious leader

Siddhartha had a life of luxury, anything he wanted he got.

When Siddhartha went outside on his own he saw what his dad hid from him and he was shocked; a old man a dead man and a sick man but what caught his eye was the holy man. This was a breakthrough for siddhartha an this is when he new he wanted to discover the rest of the lands
Siddhartha saw the holy man so happy with nothing, and dreamed of running away to obtain a life like that, so he did, he sold his rope for some rags and started to discover more about him self for five years.
after five years, Siddhartha deprived himself so much of food and water he was wafer thin, he could touch his spin from the front, Siddhartha had had enough of this life and wanted it to change so he got healthy again and Carried on for his search for the meaning of life.
Once Siddhartha realized that self-denial is not the way to be, he meditated under a tree remembering that’s how he used to do it as a kid. Everything now clicked, he understood life. Siddhartha then carried on for the rest of his life showing his teachings to others.
