On November 24th, Jack Ruby, nightclub owner and affiliate of the mafia, shoots Oswald in basement while in police custody on national television. Oswald never gets to go to trial, he claimed to have been set up prior to his death. After Oswalds death, a number of people (100+) who would conveniently die mysterious deaths that were beneficial to anyone that would not wishing the truth of the assassination to come out, such as the CIA.

The CIA had stated back in 2010 that there was over 1,100 documents making up to be over 2,000 pages withheld from the public due to "national security-related concerns" despite the Freedom of Information Act.

Several Weeks before the assassination, the CIA had reported that someone was impersonating Oswald over the phone, and made visits to the Soviet Union and Cuban embassies in Mexico was inquiring extremely sensitive sources. The CIA has photos and video recordings of this man, and neither the voice or the appearance of the man resembles Oswald. This became one of the CIA's most closely guarded secret for over 40 years.
