- the Mexican's wanted the Texans to live in their land because they would have to pay them money and it would make the land more valuable

- the Americans wanted slaves to help get work done but the Mexicans did not because they wanted to keep it a none slave state
- hey can we bring slaves into mexico?
- NO. NO SLAVES ARE COMING INTO MEXICO
- the Americans didn't want to live on their land anymore because they would not let slaves in, so they declared independence
- we want independence we are out of here

- The Mexicans said if the Americans need to follow their rules or the Mexicans will crush (start war) the Americans
- the Americans are debating weather or not Texas should be a state in the U.S.A or their own country
- should we become apart of the U.S.A or should be be are own country?
- the Texans ended up as a state in the U.S.A.
