- The scene being represented here is an example of figurative language, specifically, a metaphor. This scene manages to add suspense, because these scissors are being compared to a sword, or a deadly weapon a Knight may use, but there is also humor found within, as it is just a pair of scissors, and cannot do much damage. The theme of this poem could be about the specific roles of men and women in society, and how men can be considered as aggressive and harmful, while the women is freaking out over essentially nothing, since scissors cannot do much.

- The example being used here is one of Time manipulation, specifically quick pacing. This scene adds suspense, because this Knight shifted from calm and collected, to a rage monster, trying to cut off this women's hair, but it also adds humor, as these small invisible elves have just appeared out of nowhere. the theme right now could be of how even when someone is in danger, people will notice, and will come to your aid if you are in danger, even if you cannot see them like the elves.

- This is an example of Time Manipulation, specifically foreshadowing. This scene adds a lot of suspense, because we see how he is goes about trying to cut off this lock of hair by force, and even ends up cutting one of the elves in half because of it, pr-eluding to his eventually hair snip. This further emphasizes the theme of Men and women, and how men will go about any means necessary to reach there desired outcome, no matter who they hurt.
