  • I fought for the Canadian Army at the start of WW2
  • I posed as a local farmer to repair a severed communications wire in full view of my enemy troops. I became one of Canada's most decorated Indigenous soldiers.
  • Hello there, Im Sergeant Tommy Prince !
  • I was born 25 October 1915 in Petersfield MB and died 25 November 1977 in Winnipeg, MB
  • Battled during 1940–1945 1950–1954
  • I enlisted for training around the age 24 then just decided this was what I was going to do and continued till I died.
  • Wow, what an inspiration!
  • Look its the Tommy Prince, I heard he fought in WW2 and the Korean war
  • Ive been said to be one of Canada's most-decorated Indigenous war veterans, because Ive been awarded 11 medals in the Second World War and the Korean War.
  • Yea he was considered hero during those times
  • I reached the rank of sergeant by the end of war, and was one of three Canadians to get both the Silver Star (U.S.) and the Military Medal.
  • When did you first join the army
  • Hey there young man, what in this world inspired you to fight for the country
  • At first I was a memeber of the royal canadian engineers as a sapper then got accepted into the army June 3, 1940.
  • Courage and utter disregard for personal safety were an inspiration to me and all my friends and family.
