- Ruby has just arrived in New York City and is going to look for a new job. With her college experience she has landed many interviews but will have to choose what working envoirment is the best for her.
- Mixed Economy
- Ruby has arrived at her first job and noticed a very tradtinal envoiment as it was in the 1950's. Every person in a cubical is a man and wearing a suit .The office buliding was also very old and didn't offer anything new with opal oppurtuinty.
- Command Economy
- The next job she arrived at had a very flexible working envoirment. The people contoled there hours and there was even a option to work from home. The boss rarely looked over your work unless asked to help. This job dentily gave Ruby the the most freedom.
- Time To Choose
- Walking into the next interview there was a different vibe in this office. There was a mentor up front who looked over you but also did his own thing. The people worked hard and had a lot of support from the boss without hoovering too much.
- Ruby felt claustrophobia walking into the office. The boss has strict standerers and gave her no freedom in her hours. The job desrcpition was different than what he actually wanted me to do. He was a mircomanger and was overly bossy to his secatary.
- After a long day of interviews Ruby goes out to dinner with her boyfriend to help her make her final desicion. They make a pro and con list and she decided go with the the 3rd option.
