  • World War One
  • stop the shooting, the higher ups told me that we are surrender. Thefighting is going to stop.
  • You don't need to shoot at us we are surrendering. So there is no need to fight anymore, ok.
  • The Treaty Versailles
  • We need to make Germany pay for what they have done. You can't understand what man men have been though because of them.
  • I understand you are upset at Germany but you should let them off easy. I mean what you are trying to do will impact them really badly.
  • Well I think you are both right and wrong, we should make them pay for what they have done but we shouldn't make their whole country go so far in duty that it would take decades.
  • The Great Depression
  • Yeah we both agree with you, we are struggling to feed our own child let only yourselves.
  • This is all the governments fault that we are all in this state. Why did we even go to war, it was all pointless.
  • The picture you see here is the Germans getting a message from the higher ups telling everyone that they are surrendering. This happened because Germans were rebelling in the army and navy, they thought they couldn't win. The people in power at that time noticed that this was happening. Knowing they cant fight without the proper numbers, that they were going to lose the war in the long run. This event connects to Hitler because Hitler was part of the first world war. Which may have caused the mind sent that he had in world war 2
  • Anger Of The People
  • The people I have at this table are Georges Clémenceau for France, Woodrow Wilson for the USA and David Lloyd George for Great Britain. There were a few more people that were involved with the Treaty of Versailles, these people were from Japan and Italy. These countries were doing is making a document from the Germans to sign under secretin condition's. The terms of the treaty required that Germany pay financial reparations, disarm, lose territory, and give up all of its overseas colonies. Hitler would have been greatly impacted like all other people I would have thought and might have thought to himself that the people of Germany do not deserver this treatment. Hitler really didn't like the treaty so that would be one of the reason why he had his thoughts on life and ideas.
  • In 1929 in North America, the New York stock market located on Wall street was in a large bear market which crashed down more than 25%.This crash is when the Great Depression started, causing 2 million people to go homeless. To many people, this may not seem that bad but in the United States today it is estimated that approximately 552,000 people are homeless. These statistics relate only to America, and do not consider the rest of the whole world and the total amount of homeless people globally. In Germany the impact of the Great Depressions was huge. Not only did the country have to deal with the implications of the Great Depression, they, Germany was still trying to deal with the 269 billion dollars of debt that they had incurred and had to pay off from The First World War.
  • After The First World War and the establishment of the Treaty and while the Great Depression, the German people had to endure high amounts of homelessness and poverty. The people blamed Weimar republic, which was the government at the time for Germany. The people also started doubting the government and some looking for a new hope. That's when Hitler took the chance to make a change in the world good or bad. He started going out in public shouting his thoughts and feelings, which some people took to heart thinking it would help the people of Germany.
  • This is all your fault
  • Can you help us, I'm struggling to feed my children.
  • We need someone new to improve Germany.
