- This shows that California joined America as one of the Free States and allowed sovereignty in both areas Utah and New Mexico.
- Dred Scott Decision
- SLAVES ARE NOT ALLOWED TO BE CITIZENS
- Uncle Tome's Cabin was made to make it illegal for people in the north to help fugitive slaves and force northern people to move or locate somewhere else and report fugitives.
- Harpers’ Ferry
- This shows the aggressive results of the people moving to Kansas and having to obey the different beliefs on slavery.
- Election of 1860
- This decision was made by the Supreme that said that all slaves/ former slaves couldn't become a citizen. The government couldn't deal with slavery in any place.
- This is Hapers' having a great conversation with John Brown. John Brown leads a group of men to destroy the Federal arsenal and kill the slaves. This lead to him being killed and they watched him be hung for a tree.
- Abraham was selected as President. He wanted to stop the expansion of slavery. The southern weren't happy about this, and they think they didn't have a voice opinion.
