The Sugar Act divided the tax on foreign made molasses. Then placed taxes on some import but smuggling cases became a lot more serious.
The Stamp Act was passed in March 1765. This act required colonists to buy special stamped paper for every legal document, newspaper and pretty much any other important paper. People boycotted British goods until the act was repealed in March 17666.
The Townshend Act were indirect taxes placed on imported materials such as glass, paint, tea, paper and lead.
The Boston Massacre took place on March 5th 1770. a fight broke out between the British and the colonists. Five were killed and used as propaganda for the British.
On December 18, 1773 the Boston Tea party took place where Boston Rebels disguised as Native Americans dumped over 18,000 lbs of tea into the Boston Harbor.
