- We don't want any black students here in our school!!!
- Brown v. Board of Education was the case that ruled the separation of children in schools because of their race was unconstitutional. They ruled the case a violation of the 14th amendment.
- Freedom Riders
- This protest in Montgomery, Alabama consisted of citizens refusing to ride the bus in their city because of the segregation laws. This protest lasted about a year and ended with the supreme court ruling segregation on public buses unconstitutional.
- Boston Massacre
- The Little Rock Nine were a group of 9 African American high school students who volunteered to integrate Central high school. Eisenhower placed the Arkansas National Guard under federal control;the nine students attended class underthe watch of soldiers.
- Boston tea party
- CORE members on a bus trip that were testing the supreme courts decision on banning segregated bus seating. Their hope was to provoke a reaction that would convince president Kennedy to enforce the laws banning segregated bus seating.
- The Boston Masscre occurred on March 5th 1770. It all started with a fight on King street between the British soldiers and American colonists. Nobody knows what they were really fighting about, but one thing lead to another and is ended in death. The name Massacre might scare you a bit, because I know you think is was a lot of death after this, but i reality it only ended with 6 people dead.
- The Boston Tea party was on December 16th 1773. The colonists were protesting all the taxes that have been placed on them for England's benefit . The colonists had enough of the British Bs. So as part of the protest they dumped crates of tea into the bay to get back at the English. I would've done the same tbh.
