- Old House
- I really will miss this house.. Lots of memories were made here.
- Yea I'm coming let me just finish packing!
- Arrival
- Wow! This house is huge and this pool looks great!
- I can't wait to swim in here!
- The New House
- I don't really care if it's old or not.
- Nah, it's definitely fine,
- This house seems old,,
- A few years ago, my family and I moved to a new house. Moving to a new school made me very nervous and scared. I thought I wouldn't make friends easily and I might not make any. I realized that it would be fine, and I would make some eventually. I wasn’t used to a new environment or a new place. I really liked my old school, house, and city. I didn’t know if I was going to like this one though.
- School..
- Not hard too make friends, but it's hard to make a good friend
- Yea sure!
- I used to live in Lathrop, CA before I moved and our family moved to Tracy, CA. It’s not a far distance from my old house, around 20 minutes in a car. Moving was fast and easy but finding the right home wasn’t. My parents were looking for a spacious house in Tracy because of my dad’s work. We have a large family, so we need a large house. My parents eventually found a nice, large house with a pool and plenty of space. I like the new house more than the old house, but I didn’t know if I was going to like the area.
- The Experience
- The only real downside to our new house was that it’s sixteen years old and we were the first owners of our old house. We’d been to Tracy a lot before we moved because we had a few cousins who lived there. I already knew the city was an okay place.
- The Change
- Yea of course!
- When it was the first day of school in a new city, I was nervous and didn’t know if I was going to make friends. When I moved, all my friends at my old school in Lathrop were gone. I only really hung out with my friends at school, so I had to make new friends. I made friends quickly. I went to my new school late into the school year and didn't have much time to make new friends, but I still managed.
- Are you new? We can be friends.
- The experience changed me because I had to change everything. I made new friends and it was hard to do that. My new house was very different from my old house and in my opinion, I liked my new house much better.
- I have to find something to do I guess. I'm going to the park.
- My perspective, thoughts, and feelings changed over time. I realized that change can be good and interesting. I made better friends and I like this school more than my previous one.

- I'm making lots of friends.
