Home activites/Movie nights
Every year traveling is a way we bond and something that we all like to do together. Especially admiring the beautiful sceneries such as sunsets. With just my Mother, older Sister, and I it made it easier to travel all the time.
A few months later and I'm Stuck in my room
It's okay I'm on call with my friend right now. Maybe Later.
During this time the Coronavirus, public outbreaks, wildfires, and more happened. We knew that this year we would be all be stuck quarantining and not a lot of traveling. The only time my mother went out was to buy food and home supplies for us which was difficult because of the shortage.
For few months later.. An argument happened
I wish I did have the motivation to do something with my family again.
How come you have the time to call your friends but not with your family
We found many activities to try at home like baking and trying new hobbies! But one of our favorites was binge watching different genres of movies. Mostly every weekend we would pick a new movie to watch. We also improved skills in sewing and different pastries.
The Bond
I felt stuck with the same routine everyday. My mental health wasn't at it's best and the way I coped with it was by calling my friends daily. Both my mom and my sister noticed that I had gotten less productive and that I closed myself off. They tried to get me to do things together, yet I just never felt like it.
You never want to do anything anymore.
Hey you should come do something with me and mom.
One day mom and I got into a little argument. I've always felt guilt building up inside of me. I knew my mom just wanted the best for me and my sister. After refusing to do any activity, I excepted my mom to talk to me sooner or later about my health. I realized it's true of what my mom and sister say to me and I took a chance to change what I felt was right. To come with them on the camping trip.
At least, come with us and your cousin on our two day camp trip.
You never want to do anything that involves being out of your room.
Our camping trip made me remember where I'm the happiest. Whenever I'm with my family they always make everything worth it. We watched the sunset and made smore's till it got dark. Though it's a typical story, it definitely impacted a part of my life. Never take time with the people you love for granted and enjoy the beautiful things in the world.
