Storyboard Text

  • The wounded man, looking paler and younger, wakes up post-surgery in a futon. The room is dimly lit, and the woman serves him food. Sadao and his wife are afraid that the servants may report them. Sadao decides to tell the General about the soldier. The General arranges for an assasin to kill the soldier. However, the plan does not follow through and Sadao helps the man esacape
  • The general promises that the assassins will get rid of the American. But Sadao waits three nights for the Assasin to happen Before eventually helping Tom to escape to the nearby island.
  • Tom has healed, sadao prepares a boat for him and a flash light to communicate and provisions and sends him out to a nearby island where he will be rescued and returned to U.S forces. Sadao, however is thoughtful as he contemplates deep issues.
