- OH NO! I have a computer virus! That's what was wrong! A computer virus is a form of malware that, once inside your computer, alters the way your device operates. There are many different types, but the general virus is notorious for infecting other devices in your network, and it steals personal data, spams contacts, corrupts files, and can take over your device. I have to get rid of it!
