Storyboard Text

  • What a perfectly horrid image. I don't know who would think this necessary on a fine enough building!
  • What is splendor to me is not always splendor to you. What my eyes witness may differ from yours, all the same view.
  • Ah yes! What's to be described or indescribed on either side can cause so much tension and war.#160;
  • Oedipus, Lysistrata, Hamlet, and Earnest are in an alleyway when Earnest makes a comment about how he doesn't like the graphite#160;on the walls.#160;
  • Yes, and by opposing either side if both right, is one not wrong?
  • Oedipus tries to explain to Earnest that not everyone might think the same, making a point about perception and how it makes a difference.#160;
  • For perception and reality do not always carry similarities. So who are we to say words with such certainty.
  • Lysistrata also tries to chip in and says that differing opinions can cause a lot of tension, when there is no good enough reason to argue.#160;
  • Why I do suppose there might be some truth to what is being said here, maybe I should try and rethink my ideas.#160;
  • Continuing on Lysistrata's point, Hamlet states that if both sides think they are right, then both sides are technically wrong. So how could there be one truth?
  • Oedipus finishes the argument by stating the value of perception and how it can often differ from reality. We may not always be aware of the full reality, but we each have our own individual realities.#160;
  • While the things the others were saying might not be wrong, Earnest gets deceived by the majority and says he should rethink his ideas.#160;
