I can't wait for prom tonight and the after party!
Louis and Kay are excited for prom and the after party and plan to drink at the party. They drove to the party after prom and planned to leave their car there and stay overnight.

Kay, let's go home. I am okay to drive, only had a couple of drinks.
Are you sure you're able to drive? I don't think I should.
After having a great night and a couple of drinks at the party, Luis wants to drive home claiming he is sober enough to drive. This is a common misconception amongst drunk drivers as alcohol does not leave your system until 25 hours after consumption.

Unfortunately, Luis lost control of the car and hit a bridge on his way home. Both Kay and Luis were injured but thankfully still alive. While under the influence of alcohol your reaction time significantly decreases by 2 seconds, leaving you vulnerable to roadway hazards. Drunk driving can result in severely injuring or even killing others. If you are ever drinking, don't ever be Luis and Kay and Uber or call a taxi to get home.
