- Working Condition and Wages
- we have to work in bad condition, we dont get paid, and we get diseases that we cant treat since we get paid nothing
- we will give him some water, get back to work we still have 2 hours
- Child Labor
- We have been working non stop for 12 hours, he just passed out
- Changing Role of Women
- I just worked 13 hours, got bad pay, and now i have to come feed my family. Im just tired. If im gonna work so much they should give me better pay
- Workers worked in terrible conditon and rarely got breaks in their 14 hour work day. They were also very low paid. Children worked the same hours and still paid 1 shilling a week. Men usually made around 5 shillings and same work time. They worked in dirty places where disease was spread.
- Condition in Coal Mines
- Its only gonna get worse kid. Doctors are saying my lungs are gonna fail because of all the chemicals ive been breathing in for the past years
- I have so much stuff on my face and i have been working for 13 hours
- Children were usually recruited or chose to work for these factories. They were very unfit to work and a lot of them were injured at work. They worked the same hours as any either worker. But they got paid lower then everyone at 1 shilling a week. They were at higher risk to catch these diseases because of their young age.
- Urbanization
- I mean the only thing you could do is get an education but im pretty sure you dont have the capabilites for that, hahahah
- although women working in factories meant women had jobs, they had bad pay. They worked the same hours as men and got underpaid. Then after that they had to come home to feed a family and do usual house work like cleaning. For a women, most of the day was work.
- Changing Class Structure
- I make only like 7 shillings a week and i work most of the day, i just want to have a good job and spend less hours working
- Workers worked in conditons where they got lung diseases. All the chemicals in the mines caused lung failure. They were also prone to things line mines flooding, explosions, and getting stuck in the mines
- Urbanization is when countries shift from rural or farm economys to city or factory economies. Great Britian was the first country to make this change and a lot of companies later followed. This was good for the economy and good for the people who owned factories since they hired a lot.
- It was hard to move class structure for poor people because they needed money for school. The only way most of them could change class structure is education. They didn't have the time or the money so they usually just settled for their terrible factory job.
