- *yawn* Oh yeah? What "crucial" thing does digital law accomplish?

- Well, to start with, digital law deals with copyright issues, which keep people from passing off someone else's online creations as their own.
- With so many content creators online, intellectual properties have become just as important and real as physical property!
- Digital laws also protect constitutional rights like freedom of expression. They help regulate e-commerce and online business procedures, too!
- Privacy is also a key issue in digital law. People have a right not to be tracked or have their information sold without their consent.
