  • Great!
  • Hi there! I heard you are here to get your mRNA vaccine. Follow me back here and i'll tell you a little bit about the process.
  • That is correct...
  • so RNA based vaccines start by introducing an mRNA sequence which is coded for specific disease antigen and once it' produced inside the body, the antigen tells the immune system to how to prepare your body to start fighting off the real sickness.
  • Is it true that the production of RNA vaccines is laboratory based so the process can be standardized and scaled, allowing quick responses to large outbreaks and epidemics?
  • Okay- once I inject this vaccine, your cells will use the mRNA information in genes to create a blueprint for making the needed proteins if you were to get sick. Once the cells finish making a protein, they quickly break down the mRNA. This is great because your body will know how to fight off the sickness if you were to contract it.
  • I think I am ready. Thank you for the information.
  • Great job. Now that the vaccine has been administered, your body will recognize the spike proteins (fake) and begin producing antibodies.
  • I feel better already.
  • I am gaining immunity as I speak, mom. I still need to be careful but I feel better knowing that I am vaccinated. The doctor told me to rest up and drink lots of water.
  • Rad! I will look into that.
  • I got the mRNA vaccine, Connor. I recommend you do it too. It helps to contain outbreaks and epidemics from happening.
