- The theme relates to the quote because lennie has hope that one day theyll have a ranch to themselves. Lennie hasnt lost hope , his dream is to make their own money so they have enough to afford the ranch some land and some animals.

- George was being mean and like only listening to what other people were saying about curleys wife. they were saying that she had the eye and she was tramp.

- This quote relates to the theme because throughout the this chapter we saw how george talks to slim about lennie and become friends. Also how candy and his old dog have been together for solong and they want to kill him.

- This quote relates to the them because lennie is left alone in the barn. Crooks cant hang out with them for the simple fact that hes black,nor canhe play the same games as them. this helps us understand that crokkks is always lonley and lennie cant go to places because of how he is so hes left alone most of the time.

- Lennie killed two things the puppy and curleys wife. he really didnt mean to it was an accident. But he is really upset about it. This/these quotes help understand that it wasnt intentially it was accidental.
- This quote relates to the theme because george felt bad that he had killed him. Upset but they curley and the group where going to kill lennie anyway. This helps us understand that george did feel guilty for killing him he didnt want to but had to in a way.
