- The Acadians lived happily on their land.On August 10th 1755 the British forced them to leave their homes, board unsafe boats and live in British Territory.

- YOU MUST LEAVE ACADIA NOW AND LIVE IN BRITISH TERRITORY!
- YOU MUST ONLY BRING WHAT YOU CAN CARRY... EVERYTHING ELSE MYST STAY BEHIND
- NO, WE WILL NEVER LEAVE OUR HOMES.
- YOU CAN'T MAKE US LEAVE!
- The British soldier managed to take away their mother and father before Aiyana and Paytah, Their friends from the Mi'kmaq tribe, could save them.
- What about Mama? Will we ever see her again?

- Benny, Louis, Anne & Maria, Come with us. Be quiet though.
- Over here...Hide behind this tree so the soldier can't find you
- Aiyana and Paytah let Anne, Maria, Louis and Benny live with their people. They settled in and learned their way of life.
- Louis, Come faster or you will get lost.

- The children's mother was determined to escape the British, so she didn't have to board the ship and live miles away from her family. She just hoped that her husband was safe somewhere.

- I've got to escape the British and find my children

- The children's mother found her way back home and reunited with her children the next morning
- MAMA!
- 3 Years later, John escaped the British and reunited with his family in Acadia.
- 3 Years Later
- John! You're back!
- DAD!
