- "Keep it like a warm coat when winter comes to cover you, or like a pair of thick socks the cold cannot bite through."

- A mother and daughter are fighting in this scene. The daughter wants to go on a trip by herself, which means she will be separated from her mother. Her mother is opposed to her daughter leaving. She doesn't believe she is prepared.
- "So it is a pot full of yellow cornto warm your belly in winter.."
- The mother in this scene had had enough of fighting with her daughter. She reluctantly agrees to let her daughter go on an independent trip. Until she has to leave, all she can say is love and comfort/care for her. She gives her clothes, which she then packs in her luggage.
- "it is a scarf for your head, to wearover your hair, to tie up around your face, I love you"
- In this scene, the mother is sad that her daughter is very excited about going on a trip alone, that she is discussing how excited she is with her friends. She is watching how happy her daughter is, and she is happy that she is happy, but it still hurts.

- In this scene, a daughter and mother are walking to the boardwalk to have quality mother-daughter time.
- The daughter and mother are currently in the park in this scene. They continue to converse..
- Remember it, cherish it as you would if you were lost and are in need of advice, in the wilderness life becomes when grown and tucked away like a cabin or hogan among deep trees, come knocking, and I will answer, give you directions, and make you feel safe.
